The P024C026 is a compact module for TFT LCD measuring 2.4 inches diagonally. It has a resolution of 240×320, which is QVGA-quality, displayed on a nice size screen of 36.72×48.96mm. It has a pixel pitch of 51×153μm, and the RGB is arranged in vertical stripes. That is why the characters appear very sharp and not at all jagged. It has a luminous intensity of 260 nits and a contrast ratio of 250:1, so it is capable of making very smooth from light-to-dark and vice versa transitions in normal white mode. It should be noted that normal black mode is characterized by the strong contrast, but normal white mode is more suitable for situations like reading, doing data entry, parameter monitoring, and others where the viewer needs to look at the display for a long time. With a color depth of 262K, status blocks, trend curves, and warning indicators can be easily differentiated from one another.
The interface is based on a 16-bit MCU parallel bus, it comes with a 40-pin ribbon cable which provides a stable connection and enough signal bandwidth for smooth refresh. The ST7789V driver IC is one of the most popular and trusted in the market at the moment, and also driver libraries for such platforms as Arduino and STM32 are available which allow a short development cycle.
