The P035C013-CTP is a 3.5-inch 320x480 TFT LCD module integrated with capacitive touch. Its vertical panel format matches the natural holding position of handheld devices. The display has a high brightness level of 450 nits and a 12 o'clock directional viewing angle. This means the screen will be most bright and contrasty when you look down on it directly. When you look from other angles the picture quality will not suddenly change, it will gradually worsen instead - this "directional enhancement" approach is a compromise between the cost of an all-angle solution and keeping the excellent visual experience in the main scenarios.
The touch used capacitive CTP, multi-touch capable and very responsive. The glass surface is scratch and wear resistant though smooth to sliding the finger. Since the touch layer was directly bonded with the display one the result is a bright display and a very quick touch response plus no Newton's rings. The display interface is 8080 MCU 16-bit parallel bus along with a 40-pin ribbon cable meets all the requirements providing stable connection, enough signal bandwidth and smooth refreshing without any tearing. The driver IC ILI9488 has been confirmed and proven extensively in the market; it comes with full documentation, has large user community, and therefore development time is very short.
