The P128H002-IPS-CTP is a 1.28-inch TFT LCD module which is mainly aimed at smart wearable and miniature circular interactive terminal markets. It features a true circular IPS panel, integrated GC9A01 display driver chip, and GST816T capacitive touch IC, packing a 240×240 pixels resolution. High-contrast display, simple interface, and touch-sensitive, it delivers an integrated visual-touch solution performing at its best for the smallest-space smart electronic devices like wristwatches, smart locks, pet locators, portable devices of a healthcare nature, and controllers of a circular smart home.
The diameter of the module's effective display area is 32.40mm and the full circular screen totally gives freedom to UI design. The pixel pitch is 0.135mm×0.135mm, RGB stripe pixels are vertically arranged and can display 262K colors. The 240×240 square screen getting cropped into a circle still has a very high pixel utilization. UI elements like watch face scales, circular progress bars, and central data can naturally extend along the circle to give a full and symmetrical visual result that is aesthetically attractive and also a very good information density, quite far from the same-size square screens. IPS full-view technology guarantees the display is free of color shifting and brightness decreasing when viewed from any angle. Whichever way the user raises their gesture of hand to wrist, side glance, or looking down, the time, heart rate, and notification info will be in clear and true color, in line with the different postures of smart wearable scenario usage.
