The P045BR02-IPS is a 4.5" TFT LCD display module with a very fine resolution of 480×854 and RGB 24-bit true color interface, and thus it is intended for use in very large, high-definition display solutions for very high-end display applications. With a resolution of 480RGB by 854 pixels, this module has an active display area measuring 55.44mm by 98.64mm. The pixels are vertically arranged in RGB stripes, and the pixel pitch is a mere 0.1155 by 0.1155mm, thus a very beautiful and detailed image can be presented on the 4.5" display area. Some of the applications are professional photography monitors, industrial control terminals, smart home central control panels, aviation cockpit displays, and high-end portable devices, etc.
The driver chip used is GC9503V, and it is coupled with an RGB 24-bit parallel interface, thus there will be more than enough data throughput bandwidth to ensure smooth screen refresh and natural, seamless UI animation transition. From the viewpoint of the structural design, the dimensions of the module are 60×109×2.15mm with a thickness of only 2.15mm. This super slim specification is really at the level of the thinnest among the similar large-size modules which will be very helpful when embedding the device inside a small enclosure space.
